CompAir has been awarded the 2013 Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Leadership for its Oil Free D-Series Screw Compressor.
Following its recent launch, the CompAir D-Series, oil-free 2-stage screw compressors have been recognised by Global Market Research firm Frost & Sullivan. They have researched the oil-free compressor market and on the back of their research, CompAir was awarded on the 19th November 2013 the European Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Leadership, .
At the Frost & Sullivan awards ceremony in Frankfurt, the Engineering, Product Management and Marketing team were present to receive the award.
Key factors for the award nomination was the innovative design of the compressor in addition to the excellent suitability for specific industrial sectors, such as the food & beverage, pharmaceutical and electronics industries where compressed air purity and the assurance of quality are crucial.
The benefits of implementing the D-Series convinced the research awards jury of Frost & Sullivan in all assessment aspects of the range, leading to a “best-in-class” award. “The D-Series 2-stage oil-free screw compressor is equipped with a system that controls the oil dust by generating a vacuum, thereby separating the oil dust from the air and sending the oil back into the oil system,” said Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Niranjan Paul. “This system ensures that there is no oil wastage or oil emission into the atmosphere.”
