Why oil-free, and why silent?
Dental and medical compressed air must be completely free from oil. There’s no acceptable level of contamination when the air goes anywhere near a patient. Oil-free compressors eliminate the risk entirely. Silent or low-noise models are important because most dental compressors sit in a cupboard or plant room adjacent to clinical areas. A noisy machine is disruptive to patients and staff alike.
