Golf Club Compressed Air Shoe Cleaners
We were recently asked by South Herts Golf Club to update their existing compressed air solution for cleaning their member’s golf shoes, golf clubs and buggies. The golf club had two air stations but these existing solutions were a number of years old and starting to become less reliable with inadequate air pressure reducing the performance for members, not what they wanted after the end of a round of golf!
SHGC was an existing client of J&J so we were delighted to hear back from them. One of our team visited the site to view the existing installations and listen to the requirements of the Golf Club. This included a full data logging exercise of their existing compressor system to determine usage and help us recommend a suitable solution.
Following the initial meeting and audit, we recommended they install new fixed speed Mattei air compressors, each delivering up to 10 bar of pressure to meet their future air performance requirements. These units also come with 5 number of years warranty. We have also included a pressure regulator as well as an automatic drain system.
Shortly after our first visit, our experienced service team were able to install the new compressors in two separate rooms even with the complications of the installation room not having pallet truck access which required some pre-arranged help to lift in place from several golf club members of staff.
The twin station setup is now fully operational and the players and staff satisfied with the new reliable air pressure.

To keep the air compressor stations operating at peak performance, we will be visiting each year to service the units.
