Oil-Free Air Compressors

Oil-free air compressors deliver compressed air with no oil in the airstream at all, rather than oil filtered down to a trace. Where air touches product, packaging or a patient, that distinction is the whole point.
J&J Air Systems supplies and services oil-free machines from 0.75 hp bench units up to 160 kW industrial installations, and we have been doing it since 1963. We are authorised distributors for CompAir and Gardner Denver.
Which oil-free range fits

CompAir Ultima – 55 to 160 kW. Gearbox-free two-stage screw with permanent magnet motors, exceeding IE5. The flagship for large clean-air installations.
CompAir D-series oil-free screw – 15 to 110 kW, ISO 8573-1 Class 0, variable speed.
Bambi VT range – 0.75 to 4 hp, oil-free and exceptionally quiet, with optional desiccant dryer to -40°C dewpoint.
Bambi PT range – 1 to 3 hp compact machines for laboratory, dental and light duty.

Do you actually need oil-free?
Not every application does. If your air drives cylinders, tools and blowguns and never contacts product, an oil-lubricated compressor with correct filtration is usually the better buy – lower capital cost and better energy efficiency for the same output. Oil-free earns its premium where contamination is a batch-loss or regulatory event: food and beverage, pharmaceutical, medical and dental, electronics, and breathing air.
