About this range

Parker’s Global P31T and P32T combined soft start/dump valves provide safe introduction of pressure at machine start-up and rapid exhaust of downstream air in a single modular unit. With no pilot signal, air is blocked at port 1. When a pilot signal is received, flow begins between ports 1 and 2 at a slow rate controlled by the needle valve. Once downstream pressure reaches approximately 60% of supply, the main valve spool opens to full flow. If the pilot signal or system pressure is lost, the valve returns to its initial state and vents downstream pressure through port 3.

Combined soft start/dump valves mount to other P31/P32 Global air preparation products using modular connectors. Supply piping must match or exceed the inlet port size, and the valve should be installed downstream of the FRL after a manual shut-off valve — they are not emergency shut-off valves.
