Export Sales
We ship compressed air equipment worldwide from our High Wycombe base
J&J Air Systems supply compressed air equipment, pneumatic components and spare parts to customers in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and beyond. Our High Wycombe location gives us direct access to Heathrow Airport (20 miles) and the UK motorway network, with established freight forwarding relationships for efficient international shipment of everything from a box of fittings to a full compressor package.
We have been supplying equipment since 1963 and carry the brands that international buyers recognise and trust: CompAir, Parker Hannifin, Hydrovane, Ingersoll Rand and others. For export customers seeking genuine UK-sourced equipment with proper documentation, we are an established and straightforward supplier to deal with.

What we export
Compressors and packages
Rotary screw, piston and oil-free compressors from CompAir, Hydrovane, Ingersoll Rand, Champion and others. Full compressor packages including receiver, dryer and filtration can be supplied ready to connect. We advise on voltage and frequency variants where available for the destination market.
Air treatment equipment
Refrigerant and desiccant air dryers, compressed air filters, oil-water separators, condensate drains and air receivers. We supply standalone units and complete treatment trains to specification.
Nitrogen generation
PSA and membrane nitrogen generators for on-site nitrogen production. A cost-effective alternative to cylinder supply in markets where industrial gas distribution infrastructure is limited or expensive.
Parker pneumatic components
As an authorised Parker Hannifin distributor, we supply the full Parker pneumatics range: cylinders, valves, FRL equipment, Legris push-fit fittings, Transair aluminium pipework, and tubing. Genuine components with manufacturer documentation. Particularly in demand from maintenance operations holding Parker-based machinery.
Spare parts and service kits
Service kits, filters, separators, belts, valves and wear parts for CompAir, Hydrovane, Ingersoll Rand, Gardner Denver, Champion, BroomWade and many other makes. Genuine and quality aftermarket options available. We regularly supply maintenance operations and distributors who need UK-sourced parts quickly.
Air tools and accessories
PCL airline equipment, couplings, hose assemblies and air tool accessories. Available individually or in bulk for resale.
Spare parts for older and obsolete equipment
One of the most common export enquiries we receive is for spare parts for older compressed air equipment that the local distributor can no longer supply. Machines that have been out of production for years are often still running hard in markets where maintenance budgets favour keeping existing equipment operational over replacement.
We are frequently able to source parts for older CompAir, Hydrovane, Ingersoll Rand, BroomWade and other makes through our network of parts suppliers and aftermarket sources. Contact us with the machine make, model, serial number and the part reference or description. We will tell you quickly whether we can help and at what price.

Shipping and documentation
We quote on ex-works, FOB Heathrow or CIF basis depending on your preference and the nature of the shipment. For small consignments we use established international courier and freight forwarding partners. For large plant and machinery we use specialist haulage contractors with appropriate lifting equipment and certified drivers.
Export documentation we can provide includes:
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- Certificate of origin (UK Chamber of Commerce)
- EUR.1 movement certificate where applicable under trade agreements
- Airway bill or bill of lading
- Manufacturer conformity documentation where requested
If you have specific documentation requirements for your import authority or customs procedure, let us know at the time of enquiry and we will confirm what we can supply.
Country-specific requirements
Import regulations, product compliance requirements and customs procedures vary significantly between markets. Equipment that ships without issue to one country may require additional certification, labelling or documentation for another. We have experience navigating these differences and will flag any known requirements for your destination at the quotation stage.
Common country-specific considerations we deal with include:
- Middle East and Gulf states: SASO, ESMA and similar Gulf conformity marking requirements for electrical equipment. Certificates of origin are routinely required and must be legalised in some cases
- Africa: import permits, pre-shipment inspection requirements and destination inspection schemes vary by country. We can advise on documentation to support customs clearance
- EU and EEA: CE marking remains valid for equipment supplied into Europe. We can confirm CE status and supply Declaration of Conformity documentation where required
- Rest of world: we will advise on any known requirements for your specific destination and work with our freight forwarders to ensure documentation meets local import authority requirements
If you are unsure what your country requires, tell us the destination and the equipment you need and we will do our best to advise. We would rather flag a potential issue at quotation stage than have a shipment held at customs.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have minimum order quantities for export?
No. We supply single items through to full container loads. For very small orders the freight cost will naturally be disproportionate, and we will advise if that is the case so you can decide whether to consolidate the order.
Can you supply equipment configured for voltages other than UK standard?
Some equipment is available in multiple voltage and frequency variants from the manufacturer. We will confirm at quotation stage whether the specific model required is available for your market’s electrical supply standards.
What are your typical lead times for export orders?
For stocked parts and components, we can usually despatch within one to three working days of order and cleared payment. For equipment ordered from manufacturers, lead times vary and we will confirm at quotation stage. We can advise on air freight versus sea freight options depending on your urgency and budget.
Do you accept payment by telegraphic transfer?
Yes. We accept bank transfer (SWIFT/IBAN) for export orders. We can also discuss letter of credit arrangements for larger orders where required. Payment terms for first orders are proforma; established customers may be offered credit terms.
Can you help identify a part from a description or photograph?
Yes. Send us photographs of the part, the machine nameplate and any visible part numbers. We will do our best to identify the correct replacement, including for obsolete equipment where the original part number is no longer in use.
Send us an enquiry
