About this range

Parker Safety Quick Coupling Series 24KE/KP, Series 1400KE and, Series 30KP are designed with integrated self-venting systems conforming to ISO 6150 B. It ensures safety and ease of use in industrial applications. These couplings prevent the risk of pressurized hoses whipping during disconnection by venting air from the line in a controlled manner.
Operation Principle:
– Series 24KE and 1400KE: When the sleeve is pulled back, the plug is released but remains locked in place. Simultaneously, the coupling valve closes, and the air is vented from the line. Only by operating the sleeve again can the coupling be fully disconnected safely.
– Series 24KP and 30KP: Featuring a push-button mechanism, disconnection occurs in two steps. Pressing the button once releases the plug while keeping it locked, closes the valve, and vents the air. Pressing the button a second time completes the uncoupling safely.
Those series comply with ISO 4414, meeting increased workplace safety standards. The plastic sleeve on Series 24 protects working surfaces from scratches, while the push-button design of Series KP allows for easy one-handed operation.
