Reavell High Pressure Compressors

Reavell high pressure compressors

Reavell builds high pressure air compressors – machines that work well above the 7 to 13 bar range of a standard workshop compressor. The company began in Ipswich in the 1890s and is now part of the same group as CompAir and Hydrovane, which is why the three ranges are often specified and serviced together. See our Gardner Denver page for how the brands relate.

Where high pressure air is needed

  • Marine and naval applications, including engine starting
  • Breathing air charging – see our breathing air equipment
  • Industrial processes and test rigs requiring pressures a standard screw compressor cannot reach
  • PET blowing and similar high pressure production processes

Specifying or servicing a Reavell

High pressure systems are specified around duty, delivery pressure and free air delivery rather than picked from a shelf, so these are quoted rather than listed online. If you are replacing an existing machine, tell us the model on the plate and what it feeds; if it is a new installation, tell us the pressure and volume you need and what the air is used for.

We have supplied and serviced compressed air equipment since 1963 and work UK-wide. Send us the details and we will come back with options.

For standard industrial pressures, our air compressor range covers rotary screw and rotary vane machines. Consumables, filters and service kits are in spare parts, and downstream drying and filtration in air treatment.
