Reavell builds high pressure air compressors – machines that work well above the 7 to 13 bar range of a standard workshop compressor. The company began in Ipswich in the 1890s and is now part of the same group as CompAir and Hydrovane, which is why the three ranges are often specified and serviced together. Reavell has been building high pressure air in Britain for more than 120 years, from the original Ipswich works to the current range. A Reavell compressor typically works between 30 and 400 bar, well above the 7 to 13 bar of a standard workshop machine, which is why they turn up wherever air has to do more than drive a tool.

Specifying or servicing a Reavell
High pressure systems are specified around duty, delivery pressure and free air delivery rather than picked from a shelf, so these are quoted rather than listed online. If you are replacing an existing machine, tell us the model on the plate and what it feeds; if it is a new installation, tell us the pressure and volume you need and what the air is used for.
